Day 01: Marrakech
Upon arrival in the “Pink City” of Marrakech, transfer to your hotel for a two-night stay. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Marrakech. (Meals: Dinner)
Day 02: Marrakech
This morning we set out for a full day city tour to visit the Menara with its olive garden and ancient irrigation system, Koutoubia minaret and garden, Bahia Palace and the Dar Si Said Museum. In the afternoon we visit the Medina, its many bustling souks and the vibrant Djemaâ el Fna square with its many musicians, snake charmers, story-tellers, Gnawa magicians, acrobats and food stalls. Overnight in Marrakech. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 03: Marrakech – Imlil
After breakfast we drive to Imlil, staying in Kasbah du Toubkal or Dar Imlil and the rest of the day is at leisure to explore the surrounding area and take in the spectacular scenery. Overnight in Imlil (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 04: Imlil
The day is spent trekking the high Atlas Mountains (4 hours walking time), walking up the Tizi ‘n’ Tamert pass (2200m), passing through the Tamatert with some spectacular views of the two valleys. After a picnic lunch by we head to Imane valley and onto Ait Mizane valley before we return back to the Kasbah. Overnight in Imlil (Meals: Breakfast & Lunch)
Day 05: Imlil
The day is at leisure for you to relax or to explore the village and the surrounding area. Overnight in Imlil (Meals: Breakfast)
Day 06: Imlil – Essaouira
After breakfast we depart for Essaouira via Marrakech. On arrival to Essaouira we will enjoy a city tour visiting Bab Marrakech square, La Scala and the Medina as well as the old and new port. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Essaouira. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 07: Essaouira – Marrakech
Departing after breakfast for Marrakech where we will have lunch at the hotel and in the afternoon we will venture into the vibrant world of souks and bazaars for more shopping and sightseeing, reaching the Djemâa el Fna square (literally translating “Place of Death”) with its many musicians, Gnawa musicians, snake charmers and an array of food stalls. We conclude our tour with a “farewell” dinner at a palace in Medina. Overnight in Marrakech (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 08: Marrakech – Departure
