The peninsula of Halkidiki consists of three fingers of land stretching out from the mainland into the blue Aegean.
Despite offering a wide variety of excellent hotels, Halkidiki remains unspoilt. Pine-clad forests, sandy beaches, picturesque coves, traditional towns and pretty villages make up this beautiful area of northern Greece.
The western and central prongs (Kassandra and Sithonia) are the most developed areas whilst the eastern prong, Athos, is the chosen site for some twenty monasteries, best viewed by caique trips which operate along the coastline.
