Cambodia has proved an admirable determination, moving on to become a welcoming and fascinating destination.

Angkor is undisputedly the symbol of Cambodia and the most renowned monument enticing visitors from all over the world. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Angkor was once the capital of the Khmer Empire – an astonishing complex of over 100 temples covering a forest area of 3000 square kilometres. Intricate carvings adorn the temples, colossal human faces carved in stone, column-lined galleries, courtyards and lakes, where trees entwined in the ruins embracing these ancient structures.

Phnom Penh has retained its colonial charm with its wide and beautiful boulevards and vibrant riverfront – surely one of the most beautiful of the French-built cities of Indochina.
