Day 01: Fez

Arrival in Fez and transfer to the hotel. Evening is left free for you to relax or explore the city. Overnight in Fez (Meals: Dinner)

Day 02: Fez

Our venture today begins with a full day discovery tour of the city of Fez, one of the most beautiful Islamic cities worldwide and religious and cultural heart of Morocco. Our visits take us to the city’s Medieval Medina, a World Heritage site, we will visit a Coranic School (Medersa Attarine or Medersa Bou Inania), we pass by the Caraouyine University, the Nejjarine Fountain and the colourful Tanneries. In the afternoon we will visit Fez el Bali (Old Fez), Fex Jdid (Modern Fez) and there will be a stop to take photos at the esplanade of the Royal Palace. Overnight in Fez (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 03: Fez – Casablanca

After breakfast our journey takes us to Volubilis, a declared UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the best preserved Roman ruins and mosaics in North Africa. We continue our journey to Meknes visiting the Bab Mansour, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, time permitting, we might have time to visit Moulay Ismail’s Granaries too. We also visit the old town Medina and Mellah (Jewish quarter) and then on to Rabat for a quick visit to the famous Mohammed V Mausoleum and Hassan Tower before driving on for Casablanca. Evening is at leisure and overnight in Casablanca (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 04: Casablanca – Marrakech

This morning we take a half day city tour of Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque, tour of the Corniche Ain Diab, United Nations Square and the Anfa Residential, Mahakma, an ancient low court and the district of Habous, built by the French to resemble an authentic Moroccan medina. It’s not the usual tourist attraction but it’s a charming neighbourhood with narrow alleyways adorned with pretty low rise houses, complete with an array of open-air cafés and souvenir shops. Lunchtime is at leisure and we depart in the afternoon for Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 05: Marrakech

After breakfast we start a full day city tour of Marrakesh to visit the Menara, its olive garden and ancient irrigation system, Koutoubia minaret and garden, Bahia Palace and the Dar Si Said Museum. We are back at the hotel for lunch and our afternoon tour takes us to the Medina, its many bustling souks and the vibrant Djemaâ el Fna square with its many musicians, Gnawa magicians, snake charmers, story-tellers, acrobats and food stalls. This evening holds a special treat, a delicious al fresco dinner at an Arabic Palace. Overnight in Marrakech. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 06: Marrakech – Essaouira

After an early breakfast we drive to Essaouria where our city tour will take us to visit La Scala, Bab Marrakech square, the Medina, the old and new port. Afternoon and evening are left free for you to explore the city or just relax in the hotel. Overnight in Essaouira (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 07: Essaouira – Marrakech

Morning is at leisure and afternoon departure for Marrakech. In the evening we will explore the colourful souks and bazaars for a spot of last minute shopping while enjoying the exuberant Djemâa el Fna square with its many musicians, snake charmers, Gnawa magicians, acrobats, story tellers and food stalls. Our last day in Marrakesh concludes with a “farewell” dinner at a palace in Medina. Overnight in Marrakech (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
