Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to hotel (check-in 12:00hrs). Overnight in Delhi (Meals: No Meals)

Day 02: Delhi
Explore the historic city of Old Delhi including the magnificent Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, Rajghat and a rickshaw ride through the silver street in Chandani Chowk. Afternoon visit to New Delhi, Humayun’s Tomb, Bhai Temple, Qutab Minar ,India gate and government buildings. Overnight in Delhi (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur( 265 kms)
Morning drive to Jaipur, renowned for its blue pottery, carpet weaving and semi-precious stones. Remainder of the day is left at leisure. Overnight in Jaipur (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 04: Jaipur – Amber – Jaipur
Morning tour of the impressive Amber Fort, situated on a ridge outside Jaipur City and enjoy the elephant ride for the climb up to the main gate. Tour continues in the afternoon, visiting the Pink City and including the City Palace, still home to the Maharaja, Hawa Mahal “Palace of the Winds”, and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory which hosts a vast collection of astronomical instruments. Enjoy a stroll through the colourful bazaar before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Jaipur (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 05: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra ( 235 kms)
Drive to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. Overnight in Agra (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 06: Agra
Morning tour of Agra, home of the Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays) and the famous Red Fort. Overnight in Agra (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 07: Agra – Jhansi – Orchha
Transfer to the railway station to board the Shatabdi express to Jhansi (08:15/10:55) and on arrival in Jhansi transfer to Orchha (approx.1 hour’s drive ). Afternoon tour of Orchha – walk by the century old temples and forts, each with its own poignant history and reflect on beauty scattered amongst of ruins. Admire the grand Jehangiri Mahal, built by Raja Bir Singh Deo to honor the visit of Moghul Emperor Jehangir. The Raj Mahal and the Laxmi Narayan temple, are renowned for their fine frescoes and mural paintings. Overnight in Orccha (Meals: Breakfast)


Day 08: Orchha – Panna (225 kms)
Drive to Panna, afternoon wildlife safari. Overnight in Panna (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 09: Panna – Khajuraho (55 kms)
This morning enjoy a wildlife safari before breakfast, and drive on to Khajuraho. Afternoon tour of Khajuraho, a UNESCO World Heritages site most noted for the intricate temple sculptures and erotic carvings, a remarkable achievement of Indian art. Overnight in Khajuraho (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 10: Khajuraho – Varanasi
Transfer to the airport for flight to Varanasi (1330-1410 hrs) and transfer to hotel on arrival. This afternoon enjoy an excursion to Sarnath an important pilgrimage Buddist centre, famous for its magnificent stupas , monasteries and temples. Overnight in Varanasi (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 11: Varanasi – Darjeeling (New Jalpaiguri)
An early start for a dawn boat cruise on river Ganges to experience daily religious rituals and ceremonies. Situated along the west bank of the Ganges devout Hindus believe that death at this place ensures certain entry into heaven. The most scared pilgrim centre in India and a major tourist attraction, Varanasi has always been a centre for learning and prayer and a walk through narrow twisting lanes will demonstrate just that. Sightseeing includes the Bharat Mata Temple dedicated to the Indian nation, unique in that instead of deities it enshrines the most perfect relif map of India carved in marble, the Durga Temple commonly known a monkey temple dedicated to goddess Durga, the Thulasi Manas temples and Benaras Hindu university. Evening transfer to the railway station to board train for New Jalpaiguri (1830-0820 hrs). Overnight on board train (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 12: New Jalpaiguri – Darjeeling ( 100 kms)
Arrive at New Jalpaiguri (approx.0820 hours) and drive to Darjeeling. Afternoon leisurely walk in the local market. Overnight in Darjeeling (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 13: Darjeeling
City tour of Darjeeling visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park and tea plantation /estate. Afternoon visit of Ghoom Monastery and return on board Toy Train. Overnight in Darjeeling (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 14: Darjeeling -Gangtok (150 kms)
Drive to Gangtok, en-route visit Bon Monastery in Ravangla. Enjoy an afternoon leisurely walk in the local market. Overnight in Gangtok (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 15: Gangtok
This morning visit Rumtek monastery and the Institute of Tibetology. In the afternoon visit the Cottage industry & Enchey Monastery. Overnight in Gangtok (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 16: Gangtok – Kalimpong (85 kms)
Morning drive to Kalimpong and afternoon sightseeing of Raja Dorje Market and the monastery Zongdhogpalrifobrang . Overnight in Kalimpong (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 17: Kalimpong – New Jalpaiguri – Kolkata
This morning is left at leisure before transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station (100kms) to board train for Kolkata (2000-0600 hrs). Overnight on board train (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 18: Kolkata
On arrival in Kolkata transfer to hotel and morning is left at leisure (check-in time 12:00). Afternoon city tour of Kolkata to visit the Victoria Memorial, the Indian museum, St Paul`s Cathedral and the local market. Overnight in Kolkata (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 19: Kolkata
Transfer to airport for onward journey
